Arheologia Moldovei is one of Romania’s leading scientific journals in the field of archaeology, published since 1961 by the Institute of Archaeology in Iași under the aegis of the Romanian Academy. The journal publishes original research articles, notes, and reviews covering all periods from prehistory to the Middle Ages, as well as a wide range of thematic approaches, from theoretical contributions to excavation reports and archaeometric studies.From its inception, Arheologia Moldovei has maintained an international profile, providing a platform for scholarly exchange beyond national boundaries. This tradition continues today, as reflected in the growing number of contributions by researchers from across Europe and beyond. Since 1990, the journal has appeared annually.
